WORLD
For my Body art and ceremony culture I have chosen the American Indian
culture. Their body art mainly revolves around specific traditions which they
tend to follow on a regular basis. They are able to reflect on these religious
beliefs and turn them into art.
The most common designs which they use is tattoo and painted art, this consisted of mainly animals which symbolised power were as women used plants and feathers as a sign of beauty and resilience. Another specific tattoo which was used often were the faces of Gods which they preached (mainly on men)

BELIEFS AND RELIGION The American Indian culture focused on their religion quite often and reflected it in their art. They are well known for their spiritual practices which looked back on their Christian beliefs. They believed that everything is sacred and has a soul, from the greatest mountain to the smallest plant and animal on mother earth. They believed that spirituality is about living in harmony with Mother Nature in honor, love, and respect. However some tribes believed in different Gods and theories of the world.
